Pando dej\u00f3 un legado imborrable en el mundo del deporte, conquistando la medalla de oro tanto en los Juegos Ol\u00edmpicos como en los Panamericanos, y continu\u00f3 contribuyendo al deporte como parte integral de la Selecci\u00f3n Mayor incluso despu\u00e9s de su retiro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En su carrera logr\u00f3 trasncender como una de las referentes del&nbsp;<strong>seleccionado argentino de hockey sobre c\u00e9sped<\/strong>, coron\u00e1ndose en&nbsp;<strong>Mar del Plata 1995<\/strong>&nbsp;y&nbsp;<strong>ol\u00edmpico en Atenas 1996<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/soloprovincia.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Captura-de-pantalla-2024-02-14-094904.png?resize=694%2C467&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-47323\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El mensaje oficial de despedida de la Confederaci\u00f3n Argentina de Hockey:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>\u201cCon profundo dolor anunciamos el fallecimiento de Gabriela Pando, ex jugadora de las Leonas, quien visti\u00f3 la camiseta del seleccionado nacional mayor entre 1989 y 1998. Durante su carrera obtuvo medalla de oro en los Juegos Panamericanos de 1995 y tambi\u00e9n fue distinguida con el premio Olimpia de Plata en 1992<\/em>\u2033<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>\u201cDesde 2014 hasta 2017 fue Jefa de Equipo del Seleccionado Mayor nacional, cosechando en el camino importantes podios y acompa\u00f1ando al crecimiento del hockey y de las Leonas. Desde la Confederaci\u00f3n Argentina de Hockey acompa\u00f1amos a su familia en este dif\u00edcil momento y valoramos todo lo aportado al deporte en su trayectoria\u201d<\/strong><\/em>, concluy\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hace unos d\u00edas atras, \u201cLucha\u201d Aymar realiz\u00f3 un pedido de oraci\u00f3n debido al estado de salud de su ex compa\u00f1era y amiga en la Selecci\u00f3n:\u00a0<em>\u201c\u2018Colito\u2019, estamos todos pensando en vos!
